HOLE PORTION WATERPROOFING MEMBER FOR DRAIN PAN AND WATERPROOFING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole portion waterproofing member easy to manufacture and superior in waterproofing effect, and to provide a waterproofing structure for a drain pan. SOLUTION: The hole portion waterproofing member 2 is provided for the drain pan 1 which has a hole portion 11 insertable through a communication pipe C4 for partitioning air conditioning equipment into a lower side machine chamber and an upper side heat exchange chamber and communicating the machine chamber with the heat exchange chamber and a cylindrical rising portion 12 erected on the side of the heat exchange chamber and formed at the peripheral edge of the hole portion 11. To fit the member 2 to the rising portion 12, a recessed portion 24 having a cylindrical wall portion 21, an upper flange portion 22 and a lower flange portion 23 is formed of an elastic member. The upper flange portion 22 is formed dropping down to cover the whole periphery of the rising portion 12 at its upper part so that the front end of the upper flange portion 22 abuts on the upper face of the drain pan 1. The lower flange portion 23 is shaped abutting on the lower face of the drain pan 1 to hold the rising portion 12 in the recessed portion 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
