Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor capable of being downsized, in which vibration/noise is reduced without enlarging balancers disposed to a rotor even when hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerant is used. SOLUTION: The electric compressor has a sealed vessel 1 housing therein: a stator 4; an electric element 2 constituted by inserting the rotor 5 into the stator 4 with a slight space; and a compression element 3 driven by a rotation shaft 6 connected with the electric element 2. The rotor 5 is provided with the balancers 8A, 8B, and is formed by inserting a permanent magnet therein. Only the thickness of a predetermined portion 8C of the permanent magnet MG is reduced by d, the mass decrease amount is used as a balance weight to solve the problem. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
