COATED PAPER FOR OFFSET PRINTING BY USING INK GENTLE TO ENVIRONMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for an offset printing by using an ink gentle to the environment, having practically sufficient printing aptitude and excellent in ink-setting property and ink-receiving property even on using a soybean oil ink obtained by substituting a part of or all of a petroleum-derived solvent with the soybean oil. SOLUTION: This coated paper for the offset printing installed with at least ≥1 layer of a coated layer containing at least a pigment and binder on one of the surfaces or both surfaces of stock paper is provided by containing ≥90 mass % pigment having ≥1.5 μm mean particle diameter contained in the coated layer, having ≥60 mass % chestnut burs-shaped particles obtained by aggregating aragonite-based rod-formed light weight calcium carbonate based on all of the pigment and using 8-20 mass % synthetic resin latex containing 50-85 % amount of gel and 5-20 mass % acrylonitrile component, and having ≥120 nm mean particle diameter as a binder based on the total amount of the pigment.
