Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for disinfecting seed rice, by which bacteria and fungi existing in the seed rice are sterilized or inactivated. SOLUTION: Ocean deep water, ocean surface water or electrolyte-containing water is electrolyzed to form acidic electrolytic water and alkaline electrolytic water. The formed acidic electrolytic water and the alkaline electrolytic water are heated to 50-60°C, seed rice is immersed respectively in the heated acidic electrolytic water and the heated alkaline electrolytic water for 10 minutes to 1 hour, thus bacteria and fungi existing in the seed rice are sterilized or inactivated. Preferably, the heated acidic electrolytic water and the heated alkaline electrolytic water are kept at 55°C and the immersion time of seed rice is 15 minutes in each immersion, respectively.
