POSITION INFORMATION CONVERSION DEVICE, AND DATA OUTPUT PROGRAM FOR POSITION INFORMATION CONVERSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information conversion device capable of converting touch position data of a touch panel to mouse data regardless of the model of touch panel and outputting them to a host PC, and also enabling confirmation of the receiving state of the mouse data in the host PC, and a data output program for this device. SOLUTION: The position information conversion device 1 transmits, in case that a display device with touch panel 2 is connected thereto, a model discrimination command to a touch panel controller 2, continuously switches it to those of other models until a response thereto is received to specify the model, and loads a data conversion module according to the touch panel 21 thereof. The position coordinate of a moving destination is acquired from the display device 2, the position coordinate of a mouse pointer displayed at present is acquired from the host PC 3, the moving quantity is calculated from both the coordinates to generate mouse data, and the mouse pointer is displayed on a monitor 23.
