METHOD TO PROMOTE EATING ALL FOOD, REFRIGERATOR USING THE METHOD, AND ELECTRONIC SCALE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow all food to be eaten before the best-before-date expires on the basis of the mean consumed amount of foods till the present. SOLUTION: A food management system is equipped with an IC tag sensor to read the information from an IC tag existing in the sensible extent, a weight measuring mechanism furnished with a strain sensor installed in the sensible extent for sensing the weight, and a control part to achieve the described tasks on the basis of the signals given by the IC tag sensor and the strain sensor, whereby the best-before-date management of the foods is performed by allowing the person eating to place the food vessel fitted with IC tag on a weight measuring mechanism each time the person eats the foods to be put under management. According to this method, the end date for the food to be eaten completely is predicted on the basis of the mean consumed amount of the foods till the present and is compared with the best-before-date, and if the end date is going to expire the best-before-date, the user is notified that the food should be eaten quickly. The number of days out of eating since any item of foods was eaten the last is determined, and the number of days is larger than the threshold, the user is warned to check whether he has forgotten the stock of the food.
