NIGHT SOIL TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a night soil treatment apparatus which can treat purified water of night soil without discharge. SOLUTION: In the night soil treatment apparatus where the night soil is introduced into a horizontal perforated pipe 3b in the vicinity of the surface of a soil layer 3a in a soil treatment tank 3, and capillary penetrated into soil from the perforated pipe 3b to be purified, a reflux pipe 4, which extends from the inner bottom 3c of the soil treatment tank 3 into the soil layer 3a or to the surface of the soil layer 3a, is installed. The horizontal pipe part 4a of the reflux pipe 4 is exposed on the surface of the soil layer 3a to be used as a water sprinkling pipe 4b, or is arranged nearer to the surface than the perforated pipe 3b, and near the perforated pipe 3b in parallel with the perforated pipe 3b to be used as a water spout pipe 4d. The purified water on the inner bottom 3c of the soil treatment tank 3 flows out from a number of spouts formed in the side of the horizontal pipe part 4a, and nitrogen is gasified during capillary migration in the soil to be evaporated from the surface.
