Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device capable of efficiently drying a coating layer while maintaining an air amount of hot air and suppressing a turbulence of the coating layer. SOLUTION: In the drying device, the coating layer formed on a base material 3 conveyed into a drying chamber is dried by hot air fed into the drying chamber. A jet nozzle 16 for blowing the hot air toward the coating layer is provided and a shielding plate 20 for preventing the hot air from the jet nozzle 16 from being directly blown to the coating layer can be installed between the jet nozzle 16 and the base material 3.
