DISASTER INFORMATION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster information transmission system and a personal digital assistant, enabling anybody to receive disaster information rapidly and securely. SOLUTION: The disaster information transmission system includes a disaster information management center 1 for collecting and managing disaster information from an observation point 4 for disaster observation and an external organization providing the disaster information, and also generating disaster prevention information on the basis of the collected disaster information; a disaster information originating center 2 for originating the disaster information and/or the disaster prevention information owned by the disaster information management center 1, to an information provision target region via radio communication; and a portable information terminal 3 for receiving the disaster information and/or the disaster prevention information originated from the disaster information originating center 2.
