PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate hardware in necessary and sufficient performance (proper operation voltage and an operation frequency) in response to a condition of software executed in a system, so as to attain low electric power consumption in an information processor. SOLUTION: This information processor (20, 30) for executing the software incorporated with performance value information required when executing prescribed reference hardware includes a means for receiving the performance value information 52 of the software from the activated software 50, a performance determination means 40 for determining performance of the information processor, based on the received performance value information 52 and hardware information 22, and a means for conducting setting processing required for operating the information processor by the determined performance.
