CAMERA WITH ZOOM LENS AND ZOOM LENS BARREL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens barrel which has a frame member easily arranged and has high flexibility on design and can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The zoom lens barrel has a first group frame holding first-group lenses, which is driven forward and backward along a can groove 3c by a helicoid screw of a cam frame 3 when zooming, and a second group frame holding second-group lenses, which is driven forward and backward along the cam groove 3c of the came frame 3 when zooming, and the second group frame is driven forward and backward even when focusing. The cam groove 3c has cam groove parts 3c1 and 3c2 lacking in movement extent to a can groove 3c2' of a cam groove 3c' giving an optical required movement extent and is configured so that the shortest distance L2 between the first group frame and the second group frame at the time of feeding-in operation from a wide position to a collapse position is made longer. A movement extent for zooming, which is insufficient to the optical required movement extent, is added to a driving extent for focusing at the time of driving for focusing of the second group frame to drive the second group frame.
