Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high correction precision even when using an analog video signal to correct the deviation of a voltage applied to a common electrode. SOLUTION: A signal level corresponding to an adjustment image area of an analog video signal 401 inputted to a signal processing part 2 is set to a level corresponding to a neighbor value of an applied voltage which minimizes a curvature radius of a characteristic curve on a side of about 0 transmittance, which shows a relation between the applied voltage and the transmittance in a plane wherein the voltage applied between the common electrode and a pixel electrode 15 is taken on an axis of abscissas and the transmittance of liquid crystal is taken on the axis of ordinates, and the voltage applied to the common electrode is so set that luminance of the adjustment image area is lowest.
