Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method of a toroidal continuously variable transmission capable of surely assembling a power roller in a normal position without generating a displacement of the power roller when assembling a lower link. SOLUTION: The assembling method of a toroidal continuously variable transmission has a first process for arranging the power roller 10 in a normal fitting position in relation to a power roller housing surface 14a of a trunnion 14 and for screwing a power roller fixing fixture 51, of which tip reaches the power roller 10, to a screw hole 14c formed in an upper part of the trunnion 14, a second process for assembling a trunnion assembly, to which the power roller fixing fixture is screwed, in a transmission case, in which an input and an output disks 3 and 8 are arranged, and a third process for pinching the power roller 10 with the input and the output disks 3 and 8, and thereafter, for removing the power roller fixing fixture 51 from the screw hole 14c formed in the upper part of the trunnion 14.
