Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a cylinder block which materializes uniform cooling. SOLUTION: A cooling structure 1 of a cylinder block is equipped with a cylinder block 10 provided with water jackets 12 successively around a bore wall 11b and a hole 10h for leading a cooling water 100W as a cooling medium from a water pump 300 in the water jacket 12, and with a water jacket spacer 20 inserted in the water jacket 12. The cooling water 100W is supplied to the the water jacket 12 through the hole 10h so as to uniformalize temperature of the bore wall 11b. In addition, a thermal insulating material 201 is included as supercooling preventing means by which the cooling water 100W directly supplied from the water pump 300 is prevented from being brought into direct contact with the bore wall 11b in the vicinity of the hole 10h.
