WOUND COIL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a coil center and to facilitate the coiling work of a coil wire to a coil center while avoiding complication of the shape of the coil center and the reduction of the number of the coiling times of the coil wire. SOLUTION: In the wound coil component provided with constitution where the coil wire 3 is coiled and formed on the coil center 6, at least both of the end sides of the coil center 6 respectively have a tapered part 8 of thickening the coil center 6 with approach to the end of the coil center 6. The coil wire 3 consists of a square wire with a square cross section, and the coil wire 3 is wound-formed on the tapered part 8 while contacting with the tapered parts 8 of the coil center 6 by a surface.
