Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector device capable of performing distance measurement highly accurately regardless of a zoom ratio, and correcting a trapezoid deformation of a projection image. SOLUTION: An operation part 32 determines sensor data from the output from line sensors 31c, 31d, by receiving reflected light of an image pattern having a prescribed size projected onto a screen 1 by the line sensors 31c, 31d. A control part 3 determines the number of extreme values shown in the sensor data as the extreme values, compares the determined number of extreme values with the number of reference extreme values, and adjusts the size of the image pattern to a size capable of acquiring the number of reference extreme values. Hereby, accurate distance data can be determined by setting the size of the image pattern capable of acquiring the number of reference extreme values as the size capable of acquiring desired distance measurement accuracy.
