COOL AIR DISCHARGE PORTION STRUCTURE FOR AIR-CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct structure with a duct for guiding cool air blown out of a cool air outlet in the front face of a frame to a selective position, allowing a change in the blow range of the cool air. SOLUTION: A refrigerating cycle consists of a compressor 2, a condenser 3, a pressure reducer 4 and an evaporator 5 in the frame 1. The flexible cool air discharge duct 7 is mounted in the cool air outlet 5b for changing the blowing direction of cool air. A flat cool air discharge portion 8 is detachably mounted at the front end of the cool air discharge duct 7 with a cool air discharge portion fixing means 10. The longitudinal size of the cool air discharge portion 8 is greater than the outer diameter of the cool air discharge duct 7. A louver 9 changeable around an axis 9a is provided inside the cool air discharge portion 8. With the change of the angle of the louver 9, the range of the cool air blown from the cool air discharge portion 8 is changed. The cool air discharge portion 8 has a louver angle restricting means 8a for fixing the blow range of the cool air into a preset range while keeping the louver 8 at a preset angle.
