MUFFLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve muffling effect of a muffler of a small number of parts and a simple structure, and small sized, especially small in an outside diameter and thin. SOLUTION: In the muffler provided with a cylindrical outer tube 2 including reduced diameter parts 2b, 2b at both end parts and an inner tube 3 forming a gas passage in the outer tube 2 and composed of porous plate, and forming a muffling chamber 4 between the outer tube 2 and the inner tube 3, the inner tube 3 is divided into plurality in gas flowing direction, a partition part 10 having outer diameter larger than inner diameter of the inner tube 3 and smaller than inner diameter of the outer tube 2 is provided between the divided inner tubes, and gas passage is formed between the partition part 10 and the outer tube 2.
