TRUNK ROOM STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trunk room structure of an automobile with improved appearance while maintaining durability of an opening and closing member of an opening of a resin cover affixed to a top edge of a rear wall of a trunk room. SOLUTION: In this trunk room structure of an automobile, a door lock device fixed to a luggage door 2 is passed in a vehicle width direction at a top edge of a rear wall 3 of a trunk room opened and closed by the luggage door 2, and a resin cover 4 having an opening 5 to be disengaged from the mounted door lock device is affixed to the rear wall 3. A pair of right and left cover plats 6 made of a material identical to that of the resin cover 5 for blocking the opening 5 under a condition that the luggage door 2 is opened, and pushing and rotating with the door lock device on the luggage door 2 side and allowing passage of the door lock device under a condition that the luggage door 2 is closed is energized in a blocking direction of the opening 5 by a spring 13 and mounted to the opening 5 of the resin cover 4.
