ASSEMBLING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling device capable of performing a facing work without performing a drastic foundation construction of a floor and without depending on an expensive self-running carriage. SOLUTION: A plurality of jig carriages 3 are mutually and detachably connected by a connection means 4 and are arranged on an assembling line L. A chain 5 of a chain conveyor 6 arranged adjacently to a final assembling process A6 and the head jig carriage 3 are connected by a disengageable towing means 9. All the jig carriages 3 connected via the head jig carriage 3 are towed and are successively moved to each assembling process A1 to A6. The head jig carriage 3 is separated, while a new jig carriage 3 is added to the last jig carriage 3. Since the chain conveyor 6 as a carrying means is arranged adjacently to the final assembling process A6, both sides of the other assembling processes A1 to A5 are greatly opened, the facing work by a worker M is made possible, extensive reduction of the number of processes and extensive shortening of the assembling line L can be attained.
