COATING MATERIAL SUPPLY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material supply apparatus in an applicator in which excellent coating is carried out by preventing the occurrence of an air reservoir in an apparatus body and uniformalizing the discharge height of a coating material in the width of a base material. SOLUTION: In an applicator unit 10 used for the applicator for coating the surface of the base material and supplying the coating material to the surface of the base material by discharging the coating material on the continuously transported base material 3 in the width direction with a prescribed width, a coating material reservoir part 16 provided to be extended in the base material width direction and having a coating material flow-in port 15 and a slit like coating material supply passage 17 extended upward from the most upper part of the coating material reservoir part 16 and opened at the upper part of the applicator body 11 to form a coating material discharge port 18 are provided in an applicator body 11. A discharge side coating material reservoir part 35 extended in the base material width direction is provided in the vicinity of the coating material discharge port 18 of the coating material supply passage 17.
