Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server which provides information for grasping much more accurate merchandise purchase trends at a sales plan point of time by clarifying the regularity of the overall merchandise purchase trends. SOLUTION: This merchandise sales information analyzing server is provided with a sales trend accepting means for holding or connecting sales data, and for accepting the input of sales trends from a terminal, a sales trend calculating means for calculating the rate of the trend calculation period and the comparison target period for each of merchandise classifications from the sales data, a merchandise classifying and retrieving means for retrieving merchandise classification matched with the sales trends, and a merchandise outputting means for outputting merchandise classification classified by the merchandise retrieving means or the merchandise information corresponding to the merchandise classification to the terminal.
