Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue pigment composition for color filter which contains a blue pigment and a novel dioxazine pigment having excellent dispersion and dispersion stability of pigment, and to provide a color filter which is excellent in all of the brightness of coating film, the contrast and the light transmittance when the blue pigment composition is used for the blue pixel part. SOLUTION: The blue pigment composition for color filter contains the blue pigment and the dioxazine pigment, and consists mainly of a mixture of copper phthalocyanine pigment and the dioxazine pigment presented by the formula (1).
