Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool cutting at a high speed with high efficiency, and coated with a hard coating film superior in abrasion resistance, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This hard coating film-coated tool is formed by coating a base material surface of the cutting tool with cemented carbide, cermet or high speed tool steel as a base material, with a hard coating film B composed of TiC1-eNeand having the atomic ratio of N of 0.5≤e≤1, and coating its surface with a hard coating film A composed of (Tia, Alb, Mc)(C1-dNd), wherein M is one kind or two or more kinds of metal and a semimetal element, the respective atomic ratios (a, b and c) of Ti, Al and M satisfy 0.02≤a ≤0.2, 0.8≤b≤ 0.95 and (a+b+c=1), and the atomic ratio (d ) of N is set to 0.5≤d≤1.
