IMMERSION NOZZLE AND USING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems as pushing-crack of the main body of an immersion nozzle, in the case of constituting materials of the main body and the inner hole part with the different materials in the immersion nozzle for pouring molten steel from a tundish into a mold, caused by the difference in thermal expansion with the difference of respective materials, particularly, caused by stress in the case the thermal expansion of the material constituting the inner hole part is larger than that of the constituting material of the main body. SOLUTION: In the immersion nozzle, in which the materials constituting the main body and the inner hole part, respectively, in the case of using E0 for elastic ratio at preheating temperature of the inner hole part material, and E1 for elastic ratio at the temperature higher by 300°C than this preheating temperature, E1/E0 is to be ≤0.9.
