Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter device which can prevent an incorrect dialling by being used between a transmission side facsimile device and an exchange. SOLUTION: The adapter device for preventing incorrect dialling used between the transmission side facsimile device and the exchange includes a system controller 13 having the function of preventing the incorrect dialling, by separating the connection of a communication line between transmitter facsimile apparatus and the exchange and the function of restoring the connection of the communication line between transmitter facsimile apparatus and the exchange, after a set time duration is elapsed when the dial information from the transmitter facsimile apparatus is the same as the dial information accumulated as the incorrect dial information.
