MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, AND DATA SELECTION CIRCUIT USED FOR THEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data selection circuit, capable of extracting the prescribed number of data requiring no sorting of order in the order of decreasing values among a plurality of data, without the need for increasing the circuit scale and the processing time. SOLUTION: A register 15 latches data 0 to be selected in a decision block 1-0, comparison data 0 are compared with other comparison data 1 to 7 in a comparison block 12; when any of the data 1 to 7 belongs to four greater data, "1" is outputted as a decision result 0; and when any of the data 1 to 7 does not belong to the four greater data, "0" is outputted. The data 0 to be selected latched in the register 15 are outputted to a selection circuit 2, together with a decision result 0. The other 7 input data are also compared with the comparison data in decision blocks 1-1 to 1-7, the results are outputted to the selection circuit 2 as decision results 1 to 7, and data 1 to 7 to be selected which correspond to the results are also outputted to the selection circuit 2.
