INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, ACCUMULATOR, PROCESSOR, ACCUMULATION METHOD, PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system or the like suitable to reduce traffic of a sequence tree which will become a processing object. SOLUTION: An accumulator 431 of the information processing system 401 stores the sequence tree. In a processor 451, a calculable object which can traverse naturally the sequence tree memorized in the accumulator 431 by delay evaluation is generated. By evaluating the calculable object concerned, the processor 451 transmits an acquisition request which specifies a position in the sequence tree to the accumulator 431. When a node of the position specified in the acquisition request is a text node, the accumulator 431 transmits the contents from a memorized sequence tree, and when it is an element node, an acquisition response which specifies the number of child nodes is transmitted.
