BLUE PIGMENT COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND COLOR FILTER CONTAINING THE SAME IN BLUE PIXEL PORTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue pigment composition for a color filter and a method for manufacturing the composition having excellent fluidity and storage stability of a pigment dispersion liquid, to provide a color filter having excellent contrast of a coating film by using the above pigment composition, having excellent heat resistance while keeping the initial sharpness and brightness of the coating film. SOLUTION: The blue pigment composition for a color filter contains a -type copper phthalocyanine fine pigment, wherein the -type copper phthalocyanine fine pigment contains a sulfonic acid amide derivative of copper phthalocyanine, a phthalimidemethyl derivative of copper phthalocyanine, and a derivative containing a sulfonic acid or its salt of copper phthalocyanine, and has 95 to 150 m2/g BET specific surface area measured by a nitrogen adsorption method and 0.01 to 0.06 μm average particle diameter of primary particles. The invention discloses the method for manufacturing the above pigment composition and a color filter containing the above pigment composition in a blue pixel portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
