TRAVELING TYPE WORKING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling type working unit with small-size, lightweight and inexpensive device constitution, preventing a drive part from being submerged in water, in which there is no risk of oil leakage in the drive part and capable of easily adjusting an attitude of a working bench. SOLUTION: The traveling type working unit has a traveling rail 16 placed on a side wall 14 of a dock 10 for a ship, a traveling post 34 traveling along the traveling rail 16, a boom base end part 40 turnably mounted around the traveling post 34 at a position higher than the maximum draft level of the dock 10, a boom 42 which can be vertically hoisted around the boom base end part 40 as a fulcrum, and the working bench 48 provided at a tip end of the boom 42. The drive part for performing hoisting operation of the boom 42 is constituted by a screw jack 54 having a trunnion 50 on the boom base end part 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
