Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table device for a machine tool for easily chamfering an angular part and machining a slant face part while mounting a large number of workpieces in spite of a small table. SOLUTION: The table device for the machine tool is provided with a polyhedron table 31 of polygonal cylinder shape with many placing surfaces 31a-31d at an outer peripheral part. The polyhedron table 31 is provided rotatably around a horizontal axis on the front side of a machining part, and a first rotating device 33 is provided for rotating the polyhedron table 31. At least one placing surface 31a out of the respective placing surfaces 31a-31d is provided with a rotary table 40 rotated around an axis orthogonal to the placing surface 31a, and a second rotating device 44 is provided for rotating the rotary table 40.
