ROLL FORMING METHOD FOR TOOTH FORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and highly productive roll forming method for tooth form, which can achieve the same degree of material fullness at a tooth tip section near the end surface as those of other sections. SOLUTION: In order to improve incomplete material fullness at the tooth tip section near the end surface where rolling of tooth form is performed, the length of processing time for roll forming at the end surface and its nearby is made to be longer than that at other sections, by performing roll forming of tooth form after the end surface part 2 of the section to be roll-formed of a shaft-shaped material 1 is pressurized to obtain a raw material 3 for roll forming, which has a fattened section 4 having a diameter near the end surface by plastic deformation.
