Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion prediction device and a corrosion prediction method capable of predicting precisely a corrosion condition in a steel material in concrete. SOLUTION: In this corrosion prediction device 1, bipolar electrolytic cells 2, 3, 4 are formed with a prescribed space between metal sample electrodes 2a, 3a, 4a made of a same kind material as the steel material arranged in a concrete structure, and reference electrodes 2b, 3b, 4b made of an insoluble conductive material causing no dissolution reaction in the concrete, the plurality of bipolar electrolytic cells are embedded stepwise in substantially parallel to a plurality of portions from a position shallower than a coating depth of the steel material in the concrete structure up to a deeper position, and the respective bipolar electrolytic cells are connected to a potentiometer 7 by wires 6a, 6b. A change in a natural potential difference is monitored using the corrosion prediction device 1 to estimate the corrosion condition in the steel material in the concrete.
