Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control rod for a nuclear reactor with a support structure for a guide body with no fear of increasing the risk of stress corrosion cracking. SOLUTION: A guide mechanism is provided on the surface side of a control rod body 1 for smoothly driving peripheral members. The guide mechanism is equipped with a guide body 5 disposed in a hole part formed in the rod body and projecting to the surface side, and a guide body support member 7 for supporting the guide body on the rod body while itself being fixedly held in a control rod in a non-rotative manner.
