PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooker of high safety capable of exhibiting danger avoidance behavior before hands and clothing approach the flames of gas burners. SOLUTION: In this gas cooker provided with the gas burners 1a, 1b and a control means H for adjusting the fire power of the gas burners 1a, 1b, the control means H reduces the fire power of the gas burners 1a, 1b in accordance with a separation command for separating a heated object from the flames of the gas burners 1a, 1b, and the fie power of the gas burners 1a, 1b is returned to a state before complying with the separation command, in accordance with a separation releasing command.
