REINFORCED CEMENT THIN PLATE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced cement thin plate which facilitates formation of a rugged pattern on a front surface thereof, and is for use as a side ditch block having a high mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The reinforced cement thin plate 4 is for use in reinforcing a surface of the side ditch block, and has a pattern section 4a formed on the front surface thereof and fine pebbles 4c embedded in a rear surface thereof. To manufacture the reinforced cement thin plate 4, the following steps are carried out. In the first step, reinforced cement is spread on a surface of a plate-shaped form on which a pattern section is formed, so as to have a constant thickness. In the second step, a number of the fine pebbles 4c are embedded in a surface of the reinforced cement spread on the surface of the form. In the following step, the reinforced cement is cured over a predetermined time period to harden the same. Then in the final step, the hardened reinforced cement is released from the plate-like form.
