Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a diesel fuel composition improved in fuel economy. SOLUTION: A diesel fuel containing a soot dispersant additive comprising a grafted and derivatized low molecular weight copolymer of ethylene with at least one 3-10C α-monoolefin is provided. A method for improving the fuel economy of a diesel engine is also provided, wherein the method comprises operating the diesel engine by using the fuel composition comprising (a) a major amount of a diesel fuel and (b) a minor and fuel economy improving-effective amount of the soot dispersant additive.
