Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which can prevent a drop of absorptive function of an absorbing core by stably holding an absorbing core by a top sheet, especially in the transverse direction and making it difficult to cause distortion, deviation, twisting of the absorbing core in a diaper. SOLUTION: By giving an elastic contractile function in the lateral direction to an outer sheet 11, joined boundaries 22 and 22 of both a top sheet 13 and the outer sheet 11 enter into a side end 12b of a top sheet 12. An absorbing core 12 is held certainly by the top sheet. Therefore, the absorbing core 12 is prevented from easily moving by the movement of a wearer.
