Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cathode with high density, and a lithium ion secondary battery with high capacity using the cathode. SOLUTION: A biaxial continuous kneader having a paddle returning a kneaded composition for the cathode in a direction reverse to a transporting direction and/or a combination of the paddles is used, and the electrode is densified prior to a compressing process by imparting a high shearing force to the kneaded composition by turning a density of a solid part at kneading up to 90 to 98%, and by making a conductive assistant uniformly adhere on the surface of a cathode activator, whereby, the capacity of the battery is increased.
