Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device having a structure excellent in sealing performance without being made by one piece molding of a retainer 2 and an oil seal 1. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an oil seal 1 having an oil seal main body 12 including a seal lip 121 on an inner circumference formed as one piece on a metal attachment ring 11, and a metal retainer 2 having an oil seal retaining tube part 21 having the attachment ring 11 fitted on an inner circumference thereof and an inward flange part 22 extending inward from a one end thereof formed. A seal member 3 made of rubber like elastic material is put between the attachment ring 11 and the inward flange 22 with the seal member being separated from the oil seal main body 12 and under a compressed condition.
