Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt-blown nonwoven fabric having various performances such as heat and hot water resistances and further usable as a filter having excellent collection performances. SOLUTION: The melt-blown nonwoven fabric is characterized as follows. The nonwoven fabric is composed of a polyamide comprising 60-100 mol% of a dicarboxylic acid unit composed of a terephthalic acid unit, 60-100 mol% of a diamine unit composed of a 1,9-nonanediamine unit and having 0.4-1.2 dl/g intrinsic viscosity [η] measured at 30°C in concentrated sulfuric acid and ≥10% of end groups sealed. The fiber diameter distribution (CV%) of fibers constituting the nonwoven fabric is 20-60% and 10-60% of the constituent fibers are composed of fibers fused into a bundle shape of ≥2 fibers.
