SOUND ABSORBING MATERIAL FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing material for a vehicle suitable for a molded ceiling, a rear parcel shelf, or the like and improving sound absorbing performance without impairing soft feeling. SOLUTION: The molded ceiling (sound absorbing material for the vehicle) 10 is mounted to a vehicle body panel and comprises a substrate 20 having an appropriate shape retainability and facing 30 integrally laminated on the front face side of the substrate 20. The facing 30 employs a double-sided raising sheet having undergone raising treatment on both sides of a cloth sheet 31, keeps good feeling and appearance in the front-side raising section 32, provides soft feeling and cushioning property with the rear-side raising section 33, improves adhesiveness with the substrate 20, and provides high air permeability, thereby reducing the cost and improving the physical property and the sound absorbing performance.
