Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for a game machine capable of promptly and efficiently correspond to the increase of memory capacity without changing the design of a control board. SOLUTION: The image display device for the game machine, which is operated by receiving a command from a control device, is composed by mounting a control section 2 on the control board A, image ROMs on a ROM board B, and standard interface 10 allowing access between the control board A and respective image ROMs on the control board A. Thus, this structure can correspond to the change of storage medium such as the image ROMs or the change of storage capacity of the storage medium promptly by changing only the ROM board without changing the control board A. The setting of an unique address on the respective image ROMs 22a-22c by successive addition of the ROM board B on a data bus eliminates the need for preliminary provision of a predetermined number of connector portions inserted and mounted with memories on the control board, and promptly copes with the increase of the memory capacity in the future.
