Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive garbage collection method and a device for implementing the method. SOLUTION: The GC (garbage collection) method includes for dynamic memory allocation a step (a) in which areas for new objects are allocated to a first memory area as requested by a predetermined process; a step (b) in which, of the objects allocated to the first memory area, the objects being used by the process are copied into a second memory area; and a step (c) in which the first and second memory areas are adjusted in size according to predetermined information.
