Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a procession is easily caused in front of a cashier or counter in a time zone when customers are concentrated, in stores or service facilities of various kinds of business, it is necessary to go to the place of the procession and to visually confirm the length of the procession and the number of people or the situation of advancing the procession in order for a customer to judge the procession in which customer's turn comes early, and if a service for notifying a customer of the status of the procession can be provided in the store or service facility, the degree of satisfaction for customers is improved as a result, but it is difficult to accurately grasp the number of people since much labor costs are required for a method depending upon human labor as a means for measuring the number of people in the procession and some customers may leave the procession occasionally. SOLUTION: A procession is imaged by a camera which is positioned above the procession, and the number of people is measured and displayed by image processing all the time. The measuring method can be automatically implemented so as not to require human labor, the situation of processions can be grasped all the time from opening time to closing time and such information can be provided for customers.
