Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a front wheel brake system and a rear wheel brake system at a desirable angle in relation to each other, in regard to an interlocking brake device to be used for a motorcycle. SOLUTION: This interlocking brake device for a compact vehicle has the front wheel brake operation system F and the rear wheel brake operation system R, and this duplex interlocking brake device is provided with an interlocking device 6 for operating the front wheel brake operation system F when operating the rear wheel brake operation system R. The front wheel brake operation system F and the rear wheel brake operation system R are arranged at an angle in relation to each other in a part wherein the interlocking device 6 is provided. The interlocking device 6 is provided with a direction converting means H for converting a part of operating force of the rear wheel brake operation system R to force in an operating direction of the front wheel brake operation system F and for transmitting the power to the front wheel brake operation system F.
