INJECTION MOLDING METHOD FOR THERMOPLASTIC RESIN-MADE CONNECTION MEMBER INCLUDING METAL SHELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin-made connection member including a metal shell by the injection molding based on a stable molding cycle. SOLUTION: This injection molding method comprises the steps of: arranging a metal shell 20 in a first cavity 33 so as to contact the cavities 31A and 32A of the first fixed and movable molds 31 and 32 of a first mold assembly 30; disposing the first cores 36A and 36B in the metal shell 20; injecting a first thermoplastic molten resin 21 into a first space 34 surrounded by at least the inner face of the metal shell 20 and the first cores 36A and 36B to obtain a connection member intermediate 11; disposing the obtained intermediate 11 in a second mold assembly; and injecting a second thermoplastic molten resin to form a second thermoplastic resin layer on the outer face of the intermediate 11, thus obtaining the connection member comprising the metal shell and the first and second thermoplastic resins.
