WATER CLEANER HAVING BYPASS FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaner having a bypass function which can secure the quantity of the water to be required even when a filter medium of a cartridge is clogged, and which enables the cartridge to be replaced without stopping a stream of tap water, and enables the manufacturing cost thereof and the installation space thereof to be reduced. SOLUTION: This water cleaner is composed of: a base 2 having an inflow port 2a and an outflow port 2b of tap water W, wherein the inflow port 2a is connected communicatively to one outlet 8b of a three-way valve 8 having one inlet 8a and two outlets 8b, 8c, and the outflow port 2b is connected to a clean water pipe 7 which is connected communicatively to the other outlet 8c of the three-way valve 8 by a bypass pipe 9; a vessel 3 fit airtightly to the base 2 for forming a cartridge housing space S between the base 2 and the vessel 3; and the cartridge 5 which is housed in the cartridge housing space S and has the filter medium 4 for cleaning the tap water W flowing in the cartridge housing space S from the inflow port 2a.
