Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the boundary separation from being caused at sharp bending when a superelastic alloy is used as a core material. SOLUTION: The subject top rod is obtained by using the superelastic alloy as the core material 10, forming an outer layer 26 made of a fiber-reinforced resin at the outside of the core material except a tip part region, and further forming a resin-rich layer 25 having a resin proportion larger than that of the outer layer between the outer layer and the core material so as to lie adjacently to the core material.
