VEHICLE RETRIEVAL SYSTEM AND VEHICLE RETRIEVAL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle retrieval system capable of easily and efficiently retrieving a specific vehicle image based on vague and uncertain information. SOLUTION: This vehicle retrieval system is provided with: an image database 22 for storing vehicle images shot by stationary cameras 10 each installed on a road by being associated with at least shooting day/time information and shooting place information; an image recognition part 32 for extracting feature information (vehicle color, shape and the like) from the vehicle images; an image data management part 21 for selecting the vehicle image from the image database 21 based on at least any one of the shooting day/time information, the shooting place information and the feature information; and a display processing part 33 for displaying the selected vehicle image in a two-dimensional space or a pseudo three-dimensional space on a display 34 in an arrangement according to similarity to at least any of the shooting day/time information, the shooting place information and the feature information.
